Who were your favorite peeps on In Living Color? Mine would be Cephus & Reesie, remember them? Their songs were off the chain. Twinkle twinkle little stara How I wonder (baby how I wonder) WHERE YOU BEEN!And they used to do this cheesy disco ditty called We Tight! I also loved The Buttmans, Handy Man, and Benita Butrell. More than anything, I loved that cutie dj, SW-1...can't get over that skit with the girls chasing after him. The DVDs are out; however, I've been too lazy to order them. Has anyone else gotten the DVD set?

I loved Damon's Haitian character the most that had like 10 jobs at once--lol! At one point, I used the phrase (along with the accent), "you lazy lima bean!" when talkin' with my friends in school and stuff. But true story about Ceephus and Reesie which involved my granny (RIP): Me, my momma, and sis were at her house one Sunday nite and sis and I had our eyes glued on the tube watchin' "ILC" (and lustin' ova Shawn like we always did) when a Ceephus and Reesie skit came on with them bein' on broadway or somethin'. The title was along the lines of "Don't Get on God's Bus If You Ain't Got the Right Change". Now the whole time, my sis and I are rollin' at the skit and when it's ova, NO LIE ::holdin' up right hand in girl scout oath fashion:: our granny was like, "Mmmph...I wouldn't mind goin' to see that." This is me, momma, and sis lookin' at each otha at first --------> followed up by ----------> I had to explain to granny that it wasn't a commercial and wasn't real. But I still don't think she really got what I was sayin'. ::SMH:: Thankx for the funny and cute memories granny...still love and miss ya, but Anyhoo, I only ended up buyin' Season 4 of "ILC" when Marlon joined the cast. But I think my lil' brotha has seasons 1 & 2.

CC, I wonder if the DVD volume you have has the This Ol' Box skit. Wasn't his name Anton or something?? :zzzzzzzzz pop: Safety last when you ain't got no money! Was Marlon the one playing the Shabba Ranks sketch? SW-1 yeeeeeeah! he was fine back then.

Unfortunately, granny's "confruzed moment" wasn't captured on film; but if it had been, I'm sure we coulda at least won the runner-up title on "America's Funniest Videos"--lol. But I think there's an Anton skit on the DVD I have. I know it's on the ones my lil' brotha has. And yup, that foo' Marlon played Shabba Ranks in a skit called "Mr. Ugly Man". Watch here And yup again to Shawn bein' fine back then although he's still FINE now! But he's that sexy-azz fine whereas I like Marlon more because he's that cute and adorable fine which is the kind of fine I like best--lol.

CC that is sooo funny! I would've been dying with yall.
My favorites are, of course, Homey The Clown, because he don't play dat. Also the Men on... are a classic. Also when Keenen and Damon use to do those Siamese twins. There are just sooo many too name.
I have all the seasons on DVD. And I was told that they were edited a lot. Some of the music was done over for the fly girls and certain skits aren't on there. Some I know for sure that aren't on there are Tommy David's doing Michael Jackson's Black or White and Jim Carrey doing Vanilla Ice.
