“And your point is what?”, Deja calmly asked as she folded her arms.
“Mimi, is this the hussy you were tellin’ us about?”, one of her two friends, named Samantha, asked.
“Yeah, it’s her!”, Mimi stated as she stepped up closer to Deja. However, Deja didn’t flinch or back down.
“I think it would be wise for you to back up off me.”, Deja politely warned her.
“She doesn’t have to do a damn thang!”, the other friend hissed as she stepped in front of Mimi and got up in Deja’s grill pushing her back just a bit.
Out of reflex, Deja threw a punch that landed on the female’s jaw that sent her flying into an open stall. When she landed on the toilet, water shot up from the inside of it catching her in the face.
“Mercedes!”, Samantha shrieked as she ran over to help her dazed friend up.
While all of this was taking place, Deja and Mimi continued to stare each other down.
“Uh, Mimi, holla if you need us. We’ll be right outside!”, Samantha stated as she helped Mercedes out of the restroom.
“Now that they’re gone, what was your point again?”, Deja asked.
“Uh, um, I, see…”, Mimi stammered.
“Look…I don’t want no trouble. As a matter of fact, I’m helpin’ you out. You don’t need a sorry excuse for a man like Rongdewing. He!!, I don’t even want him if that’s what you’re thinkin’!”, Deja reassured her.
“You don’t? Then why are you here with him?!!”, Mimi demanded.
“Because I’m juss tryna get my shine on! Besides, I’m not the type to take anotha female’s man. Shoo’ there are times when I don’t want the one I have!”, Deja joked in reference to Scola. Mimi giggled at her comment about him.
“But I’m confused though because I saw the way you were lookin’ at each otha in the meeting today. What was that all about?”, Mimi asked as she and Deja took a seat on a sofa that was in the lobby of the restroom.
“Girl, please! I was doin’ that so I could easily influence him to give me a shot at bein’ in the spotlight, ya know. I figga that if I flirted with him a lil’ bit, it would give me a greater chance of showin’ off my ski-zillz to him. But that’s the only reason why I’m even up in here with him.”, Deja stated with the most innocent of smiles.
After a few more minutes of chatting with one another, Mimi was very satisfied and relieved with Deja’s tall tale of how she wasn’t into Rongdewing the way Mimi thought she was. And at the same time, Deja had somehow convinced Mimi not to go back to him.
“There you are! I thought I was gonna have to have Big Lou come and look for you!”, Rongdewing exclaimed when Deja made her way back to their table.
“So what you’re sayin’ is that I can’t have a moment to myself?!”, she snapped as she glared at him.
“No, no…please forgive me. What I said didn’t come out quite right. What I was trying to say was that I was getting a little worried about you. That’s all!”, he replied as he grabbed her hand and kissed it.
“Oh…well, since you put it that way, I guess I can forgive you.”, she stated with a warm smile.
“Great! Now if you’re ready to leave, we can head out!”, he stated as he began to rise up from his chair.
“Okay!”, Deja agreed.
When the guys noticed Deja and Rongdewing coming out of the restaurant, Nokio and the guys followed them to his place.

Pulling up to the front of Rongdewing’s place was like pulling up in front of a palace in Deja’s opinion.
It was a white, 3-story mansion on the outskirts of town that seemed to glow from the many security lights that had been installed on and around it.
“This is breathtaking!”, Deja sighed when Rongdewing came over to her car to open her door and help her out.
“Thank you! I take great pride in my home as well as my women.”, he stated with a wink as he led her inside following by Big Lou and his date.
Nokio and the guys drove past Rongdewing’s place so he wouldn’t notice them. After cruising about a ½ mile down the road, Nokio turned his ride around and headed back towards his home. He decided to park his ride in between some trees of a woodsy area across the road. Then he and the guys climbed out and headed over to the mansion to carry out their plans for the evening.
In the middle of a tour of his home, Deja became irritated with Big Lou following behind her and Rongdewing.
“Look! I would enjoy this a lot more if the 2 of us had some privacy! His following us around makes me feel like a criminal or somethin’! If he doesn’t truss me with you, maybe I should have him frisk me!”, Deja snapped. She proceeded to walk over to a wall and place her hands on it to assume the position. When no one said a word, she looked over her shoulder and asked Big Lou what was he waiting for.
“Anything to oblige ya, missy!”, Big Lou grinned as he headed over to her to fulfill her request.
“Oh no you don’t, Lou! That won’t be necessary! I would like to have a little privacy if you don’t mind. Why don’t you show Laci, here, your side of the place.”, Rongdewing stated with a slight nod of his head that meant for them to leave.
“Laci already knows what my side looks like, boss!”, Big Lou replied without a clue.
“Then show her the new jacuzzi in the sauna out back!”, he hissed through clenched teeth.
“She’s already seen…”, Big Lou began before he noticed how Rongdewing began to reach for something on the inside of his blazer.
“Oh yeah! I forgot we did get a new one the other day! C’mon, Laci!”, Big Lou stated when he realized what his boss was reaching for; it was a mirror that Rongdewing pulled out to flash in front of Big Lou’s face whenever he did or said something wrong. Looking at his own reflection was the worst punishment he suffered at the hands of Rongdewing.
“Ok, I’m with ya because I wouldn’t have to hurt that over there!”, Laci stated as she pointed her finger at Deja before taking Big Lou’s hand.
“Oh, I got yo’ ‘that’, trick!”, Deja shouted as she jumped out of her sandals without untying them. She quickly walked towards Laci.
“Hey! Calm down!”, Rongdewing replied as he grabbed Deja around the waist to keep her from catching a case.
Laci let go of Lou’s hand and ran out the back door ahead of him while continuously glancing back over her shoulder to make sure that Deja hadn’t broken free from Rongdewing’s embrace. And of course he didn’t let her go until Big Lou and Laci were out of sight.
