Usher Urges Brown to Clean Up His Act
Usher is urging Bobby Brown to get his life together - because he believes the fallen R&B idol no longer has any class.
In 2002, "Yeah!" singer Usher invited Brown to his 24th birthday party, but things soon turned ugly when the former New Edition star attacked him in front of his guests.
He tells Sister 2 Sister magazine, "I wish Bobby would get his s**t together, man. I miss Bobby, man. I don't know who the f**k that dude is that's running around here. I don't know that guy."
"I remember Bobby Brown for his charm. Like, I do remember when Bobby Brown had charm. Had class. And now he ain't got no class. I just hate to see it, you know?"
"And to deal with me the way he dealt with me! I can imagine how he deals with the rest of the f***ing world. Mother****er tell me he's gonna kick my a** and throw me over a balcony after I recognized him for what he had done, and all of his accomplishments, and how he encouraged me to do what I do. And the mother***er tells me he's gonna throw me over a balcony!"
"He's in the VIP area and I said, 'I wanna introduce to you guys someone real special to me. I wouldn't be who I am without this individual. Y'all give it up for the original king of R&B, Mr. Bobby Brown.'"
"And when I introduced him, he came over to me - came real close to me. I don't know if it was because of envy or jealousy - whatever it might have been. Maybe it was that. I don't know what the f**k it was. Maybe to see if I was intimidated by him."
"We had a little tussle or whatever in the VIP room. We ain't exchange no fists. We did exchange some words. I love this guy."
"F**k all the s**t that you heard in the newspapers about him being a crack head, alcoholic, whatever it might be. I don't look at that. I look for Bobby Brown. Anybody can be given a second chance to make it and get themselves together. And it just disappointed me."
"It's gotten to the point where I can't take it no more. I feel bad that I'm kind of putting myself in the position to say something about it because, who knows, I might end up having to be with Bobby behind this."
"But I'll be the first to say it, 'I miss Bobby. I love Bobby Brown and I wanna see Bobby Brown come back."
Usher needs to hush although some of the things he said about Bobby are true...but still the way I look at it, ol' boy has no class when he said the things he said both recently and in the past about Mario and Sisqo. ::SMH:: There's room for everybody as far as I'm concerned.
