I read at the producerz mboard: Confirmed. Sway reported this on Hot 97 this morning. Heard it with my own two ears. They said Ray J is supposed to bring a "hard core edge" to the group. They also said that he is supposed to be sharing lead vocals with Raz-B. I don't know about Ray-J being "hard-core", I think he tried to hard when he went that route. I think he can sing.....this will be interesting!!!!

LMAOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope that it was just a thought that they were having, if not then CMXVISION's is really gonna be hearing from me(since that's the only way i know to contact the other 3) I thought that they said that they won't be adding another member to the group. Well if they do they betta not still call it B2k, because if i'm not mistaken and I quote: " B2k is Omarion, Raz-b, J-boog, and Lil Fizz, we can't replace Omarion. He's irreplaceable just like you can't replace us." end quote HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM SOMEBODY TOLD A DAMN LIE!!!!! I"M TIREDOF LYING ASS NICCAS, Boog we can throw down if that's what ya wanna do. Somebody betta start speaking da truth!!!!!!

Nobody, not even J-Boog, Raz-B or Lil Fizz, was sure if B2K could function as trio. Now it looks like they don't have find out, because B2K are once again a foursome.
According to Boog, Raz and Fizz's business partners, Brandy's younger brother, Ray J, will replace former lead singer Omarion, who left earlier this month.
A label spokesperson for B2K had no knowledge of the roster addition.
Omarion — while in New York recently with Marques Houston promoting B2K's upcoming film, "You Got Served" — said he's had a bit of a change of heart since making statements about the group being over (see "Omarion Calls B2K Breakup 'A Real Sad Situation' ").
"In the future, I hope we do get back together. I would definitely want to do that [once any solo projects are over]. I think the people would enjoy it," Omarion told MTV News.
Meanwhile, O is starting work on his untitled album, due this spring (see "Omarion's First Post-B2K Album Due In March"). Omarion said fans can expect something different than what they heard from him as part of a quartet.
"I'm gonna ... speak on some personal issues. Do a lot more issues. I'm gonna take on the whole business side of it this time around. I'm 19 years old, I think it's more important this time in my career that I'm involved a lot more."
Part of speaking on personal issues means addressing his departure from B2K in his music. "Most definitely," he said, "because it was critical time in my life."
No official word has come from B2K yet about when their first music with Ray J will surface, but another source working with the camp said they have a track on tap produced by R. Kelly.
—Shaheem Reid, with reporting by Sway Calloway My guess is this is from MTV.com.

RAY-J?!!! OMG...I done heard it all now! I admit that I own his first CD from back in '97 which was aight, but I wasn't feelin' his last one when he came back all thugged out! When is po' baby gon' learn that he may want to find anotha line of work? Besides, I could see if the group added a member who could REALLY sing like NE did when they added Johnny Gill. Shoo' I could see them addin' Mario before Ray-J. But ah well...

They could do a whole lot better than Ray-J! I don't even know what to think about that one right there. I'm not a B2K followe but I know enough to know that Ray-J ain't the one...like somebody said Mario would fit a whole lot better.

I agree with ya'll when you said that Mario fits better. I haven't heard Ray-J sing in a while and hopefully he got better. But....I wonder will he sing Omari's parts? I wonder how the fans will react! lol

Well Peaches sure knows that I'm soooooo NOT a fan of B2K lol...but out of the three members left, I'm thinking Ray-J might actually HELP them, seeing as they aren't what I would call the best of singers, I mean, neither is Ray-J, but ya catch my drift..

LOL that is soooooo true you are not the biggest fan,but in acutality I think that we are getting ahead on the ray-j thing, someone just flew with the lil info that they were given. ON part three of Boog, Fizz, and Raz-B's interview they said that they wouldn't really know the future of the group until they meet with Chris and Omarion. Which is true because Omarion still owns 1/4 of B2k the name belongto all four of the boys. So if they continue as a foursome witout him it's a possibility that they can't use the name, and whatnot. But they are supposed to meet and see if they can come to a resolution. Until then I'm not gonna say anyhting about Ray-j.

*UPDATE* HOLLYWOOD — Ray J, Brandy's younger brother, is not replacing Omarion in B2K after all.
At Thursday's premiere of the group's first movie, "You Got Served," J-Boog, Raz-B and Lil Fizz denied reports made by their business partners Monday.
"No, Ray J's just a part of our family," J-Boog said as he rushed by reporters on the red carpet.
Suspense and drama were rampant at the legendary Grauman's Chinese Theatre — and that was before the movie began. The event marked the first time Omarion was in the same room as his former B2K members since the group announced his departure a few weeks ago.
Omarion, in sunglasses and jeans, arrived first, walking the red carpet with brother and co-star Marques Houston, dressed to the nines in a plaid gray suit. As the duo quickly jumped from one reporter to another, the couple hundred fans lined up along Hollywood Boulevard continued screaming, some chanting "B2K!"
"We're trying to be the next Will [Smith] and Martin [Lawrence]," the two said simultaneously. They will next appear together in "Crazy House" and recently auditioned together for the upcoming "Fat Albert" movie. "I play the captain of the football team, and he plays a freshman," Houston said of "Crazy House," a horror movie due out around Halloween.
Chris Stokes, B2K's former manager and the director of "You Got Served," arrived next, minutes before the screening was to begin, and was the first to deny the Ray J reports. "I don't believe it's true," he said. "We hope that it's not. I just want the guys to know that I love them. Guys, take care and make sure to look out for those who are in your ears."
Stokes also publicly addressed for the first time claims by J-Boog, Raz-B and Lil Fizz that he failed to pay the singers money they were owed. "Well, all of that is false," he said. "That's why I still have Omarion [as a client], because him and his mother went in and checked all the books and records and saw that I never took anything from the guys."
J-Boog, Raz-B and Lil Fizz arrived minutes later, prompting more screams from the crowd and some looks from Omarion and Stokes. All five of the guys kept a wandering eye on each other but never spoke or posed for any pictures together.
The remaining B2K singers cruised by reporters especially fast, spilling sound bites, but mostly avoiding questions. "This feels good," Raz-B said. "It's a dream come true. The movie's out in the theaters. B2K standing strong."
Before entering to catch the movie, Stokes predicted it would open at #1 and said he has numerous other films in development.
When asked if he would continue acting, J-Boog said, as he was entering, "Hopefully."
Others who turned out for the movie included several breakdancing crews, lesser known B2K-like singing groups, "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson, 3LW's Adrienne Bailon and singer/actress Haylie Duff. "I'm filming with these guys in March, so I came out to support everybody," the latter, who will appear in "Crazy House," said.
Meagan Good, the "Biker Boyz" beauty who co-stars in "You Got Served," arrived after it had begun, but not for lack of excitement.
"This movie has a bunch of different storylines, something every teenager can relate to," she said. "A little bit of love, dealing with an older brother, friends not getting along. The whole dance thing is the best part, though, because we don't have a 2000 version of 'Breakin',' and that's what this is."
As for her co-stars, she added, "They really came to the set as real actors and they just brought their best game; they didn't come as B2K," she said. "I was pleasantly surprised."
"You Got Served" opens Friday (January 30).Ah well...

I read at the producerz that Ray-J and them recorded a song and it didn't sound good, so now they don't want him. But, we already know that the remaining three are not really strong singers so...... I have a feeling that Omarion's solo will sound just like a B2K album!
