I saw one of the few pilot episodes that aired last summer and was like But then I figured I'd give the show one more chance last nite. I watched the last half of the show b/c I forgot it was comin' on and it made my eyes hurt so bad that I had to turn. I think it got one chuckle outta me and that was it. I didn't even bother to watch the next episode that came on afterwards. Even Allen Payne ain't enuff for me to continue to watch, but that's juss my opinion of the show.

It didn't seem that good to me, my boyfriend said they probably gonna end up cancelin this show like they do to most black sitcoms except Girlfriends, they know not to do that cuz there will be so many angry women if they did and that can be a scary thing...lol.
But another thing is that alot of people thought Brown had died from a heart attack but of course he was on the show last night, I just need to know if its true or is it a rumor?

I think that it's a pretty good show, I meean if you can sit and watch those lame ass predicitable realtiy shows, then this is just as good as anyone of those. Of course some of the punch lines have already been seen int he plays, but I think that this is a pretty good positive African_american sitcom that is very much needed amongst the "College Hills" and the "Real Worlds" and Laguna Beaches. it may take a few episodes, but I think that it's pretty good.

I agree with Toya, I'm hoping that with a few episodes the show will get better because I would hate to see the show get canceled. I only watched half of the 2nd episode, so I'm praying that it gets better. Tyler does such a fanstasic job with his movies and plays, I just want him to do well with TV as well. You made a good point about those reality shows Toya, but of course shows like Flava Flav, ILNY, and Charm School, hell even Jerry Springer are gonna get better ratings because of all the drama that goes along with them.

All i know is that Mr. Brown had me crackin up. I think if Madea and Brown are casual characters the show will do good. I think that's what most Tyler's audience wants anyways. No disprespect to the other actors but Madea and Brown make the show.

^lol I was thinking the same thing, but I'm trying not to cause I know Mr. Perry aka Madea is not gonna make to many guest appearances. I think he wants his fans to get use to not seeing Madeas character all the time. I'm not sure about Brown though, I think we'll see a lot of him on the show.

I don't think Madea will make too many appearances either b/c it seems like he's so busy with his plays and movies. But I wouldn't mind a guest apperance here and there.
