EDDIE & GERALD LEVERT: Still Doing 'Something'
The musical memory of Gerald Levert continues to live on.
And what makes a new project especially noteworthy is the fact that it's an entire album pairing him with his father, R&B veteran Eddie Levert of The O'Jays.
On June 12, Atlantic Records will release 'Something to Talk About,' a soul-stirring collection, which serves as a touching reminder of the close relationship the loving two-some shared before Gerald's untimely death in November 2006.
Highlights from the new set are the smooth steppers-groove 'Close & Personal,' the velvety 'That's What I Do' and the title track -- a refreshing remake of the Bonnie Raitt classic.
