"5 Mics: At It Again" Part 2/Conclusion

After the guys arrived back at their place, Nokio tried calling Deja several times.

“Man, I’m not getting a good feelin’ ‘bout this!”, he shouted as he paced back and forth across the rec room’s floor with his phone.

“Oh shit! You don’t think…?!”, Scola started. “Man, let’s go!”

He and the guys all climbed back in Nokio’s ride to go check on Deja. When they arrived at her place, they saw that her door was ajar and that it was dark inside.

“Dammit, man!”, Sisqo shouted after he and the guys looked around in her place for a few minutes to try to find some type of clue. “We gotta go find the mupphucas that did this!”

When they went back outside, Jazz noticed Deja’s gold anklet on the pavement. When he picked it up, Nokio walked over and snatched it from him.

“Let’s do this!”, he hissed through rage-filled eyes as he clutched the anklet tightly. They all jumped in his ride and headed down to WeStink’s office building.

“Here’s my boo, ‘Got-It!”, Tha’ Fool proudly smiled as he walked Deja into Think-I-Got-It’s office.

Deja threw a fiery glare Think-I-Got-It’s way as Tha’ Fool sat her down in a chair in front of his desk. She noticed that Think-I-Got-It had a deep gash down one side of his fat, sweaty face. She was wishing she could give him one on the other side.

“She would look a helluva lot cuter if she didn’t have those swollen red eyes and shit!”, Think-I-Got-It complained. Deja’s eyes were red from crying because she didn’t know what would happen next. But she wasn’t going to let that stop her from using her mouth.

“Fuck you, ya fat bamma!”, she shouted. She was going to show both him and Tha’ Fool that they weren’t going to intimidate her.

“Whoa! No need to be that way, honey!”, Think-I-Got-It replied as he stood up and walked from behind his desk. He went over to her and grabbed her by her chin.

“Foo’, you may be on to somethin’ here with her. At least she got that fire! Not to mention this outfit. She definitely a soldier with heart!” Deja was wearing a camouflaged dress with a matching head wrap.

Then he tightened his grip on her chin, and lowered his voice warning her to watch her mouth when talking to him.

“I want you to take her up to the studio to meet Shitty and Choke so they can gather some ideas on what they’re gonna do together!”, Think-I-Got-It ordered Tha’ Fool.

“Aight. C’mon, boo!”, Tha’ Fool said to Deja as he grabbed her arm to stand her up.

“I’m not yo’ boo, ya fuckin’ punk-ass nigga!”, Deja shouted.

“I’m lovin’ this girl!”, he laughed as he tightly wrapped his arm around her waist and walked her out of Think-I-Got-It’s office.

When she and Tha’ Fool arrived on the top floor where the studio was located, she heard a bunch of noise coming from the other side of the door. Walking inside, she saw Shithina, Choke, and some recording engineers.

Choke was rapping about something ridiculous, while Shithina was waiting to sing a dumb hook. The recording engineers were sitting behind the mixing board with a look of utter disgust on their faces.

Choke: “Uh, uh/I be that chick/Wha’ right/I be that chick/Uh huh uh huh I’m not a trick/Yeah wha’/cuz I’m that chick”

Shithina: “She’s that chick/she’s the real chick/cuz she’s that chick/yeah she’s that chick/She’s not a trick but a chick/Cuz she’s a chick and not a trick”

“You have gotz to be kiddin’ me!”, Deja said to Tha’ Fool as they listened to them doing God knows what.

“But, see, this is where you come in, boo! You’re here to improve on what they’re doin’! And who knows if you do a good job which I know you will, you’ll have the privilege of havin’ me as yo’ man! I’ll make you fo’get all about yo’ current nigga!” He took her hand that he had been holding onto tightly and gave her a small kiss on it. When she tried to pull away, he held his grip tighter on her and threatened to have his boys hurt her if she tried anything.

When Shithina and Choke were finished with their session, Tha’ Fool introduced them to Deja.

“Hi!”, Shithina said in a chipper tone extending her hand to shake Deja’s. When Deja made it obvious that she wasn’t going to return the gesture, Shithina walked away singing to herself while twirling her hair through her fingers.

Choke walked up to Deja and said, “I hope you know you ain’t here to steal my shine, yo!”

“Ho, please! You ain’t got no dn shine! So you ain’t got a fuckin’ thang fo’ me to steal from yo’ stupid ass!”, Deja shouted as she threw her hand up in Choke’s face.

Choke was about to make a life-threatening mistake when she swung at Deja before Tha’ Fool stepped in between the two of them and ordered them to stop the madness, although he was thoroughly enjoying what was going on. Nothing turned him on more than to see two women heated with each other.

“Well, tell that toy soldier trick not to fuck with me then!”, Choke shouted jumping around like she was ready to rumble.

Deja couldn’t help but laugh while watching her act like the simple-minded fool that she was.

Dru burst up in the lobby of WeStink’s headquarters and were quickly confronted by a big, burly security guard.

“Where the hell you think yall goin’?!”, the guard barked at them as he jumped out of his chair and high-stepped it around the desk that was surrounded by bullet-proof glass.

Without saying a word, Sisqo jumped up and kicked him in his jaw knocking him through the glass and over the desk. Just like that, the guard was knocked smooth the fuck out.

“That’s what I’m talkin’ ‘bout!”, Jazz laughed as he and Scola tied the guard up with duct tape.

“C’mon let’s go get our girl!”, Woody ordered as they all ran to the elevator. Little did they know that Think-I-Got-It had watched the whole thing take place on the security monitor in his office. He raced to the top floor bursting into the studio and ordering everyone to get ready to throw down because The 5 Mics had infiltrated the premises.

“Oh shit! Yo’ boys done fucked up now!”, Tha’ Fool barked at Deja as he grabbed her by the hand and tried to lead her out of the studio to hide her. When she resisted, he got his two boys to pick her up and take her out.

“Help!!!!!!!”, Deja shrieked before being thrown into a small and dark office.

Meanwhile, Shithina and Choke just stood around looking dumb-founded as they watched everything that was taking place.

“What you think is happenin’?”, Shithina asked with an astonished look on her face.

“Damn if I know!”, Choke replied before she continued freestyling stupid things over the mic.

“Deja, answer me! De-jaaaaa!!!”, Nokio shouted as he and the guys walked through each floor of the building.

When they had reached the 8th floor of the 10-story building, Think-I-Got-It and his camp confronted them when they stepped off the elevator.

“What the fuck you think you doin’ in my building?!”, Think-I-Got-It demanded when he met them face-to-face.

“What the fuck you think we doin’ here ya dirty muphucca?!”, Scola spat back.

“I think yall wanna get fucked the fuck up!”, Tha’ Fool replied as he walked over to a stereo system and turned it on. Choke and Shithina’s earlier recordings together blasted throughout the room causing the guys to fall to their knees.

“Ah, shit! Not those two, please! I beg of you!”, Jazz shouted as he rolled around on the floor in pain while holding his ears.

Think-I-Got-It and his crew just stood there laughing at them. They knew that this music was like ghetto kryptonite to The 5 Mics’ ears.

“Naw, we can’t do that, fellas! See, you’re the ones who came bustin’ up in here ready to start shit! ‘Specially after a nigga was tryna be nice to yall!”, Tha’ Fool laughed. “Now, if yall will excuse us…we gotta go get yo’ girl and take her somewhere else to record some stuff for us.”

“I can’t take too much more…of…this!”, Woody shouted while lying in a fetal position and holding his ears.

With all of his might, Scola crawled towards the stereo system to shut it off.

Deja pushed a desk that was in the office that she had been locked in over to the door to stand on it to see if she could see anything going on out in the hallway through a small window at the top of the door.

She had good timing with looking out of the window because she saw Shithina wandering around in the hallway without a clue.

“Yoo-hoo! Shithina! You wanna help yo’ girl out?”, Deja shouted after knocking on the door to get her attention.

“Who’s there?”, Shithina asked looking down the opposite end of the hallway.

“What a dumb-ass!”, Deja hissed through clenched teeth. “It’s me, Deja, sweetie. I accidentally locked myself in here. Could you help me out? Pretty please?”

“Sure!” When Shithina opened the door for her, Deja thanked her. Then without warning, Deja threw her into the office and closed the door.

“Hey!”, Shithina shouted as she pulled on the doorknob.

“Sorry, but I had to do it!”, Deja replied before running down the hall to take care of business.

“Thanks, man!”, Nokio said as he weakly stood up from the floor. Scola had successfully turned the stereo off.

“No prob, Noke! For a minute, I thought I was gonna have to throw myself through that window, though! Damn those girls are tired!”, Scola said breathlessly as he leaned up against a wall to gather his strength back.

“That’s fo’ damn sho’!”, Sisqo replied as he and the other guys weakly stood to their feet. “But I got somethin’ for Tha’ Foo’s ass!!!”, he shouted as he stuck his hand down in the pocket of his jeans.

The guys looked at one another with sly grins.

“Help me! Help me, please, help me!” Shithina was pounding away on the door of the office that she was locked in.

“Man, I know that ain’t…! Shit! I’ll be damned!”, Tha’ Fool huffed as he and the gang made their way down the hall to retrieve who they thought would be Deja from the old office.

“Juss leave her stupid ass in there! We gotta find yo’ girl before she rescues her boys!”, Think-I-Got-It told Tha’ Fool.

Deja was on her way down in one of the many elevators to make her escape from the building when she ran into the guys coming onto the elevator when she had reached the 9th floor.

She fell into Nokio’s arms and said, “I’m so glad to see yall!”

“We’re glad to see you too! Are you alright?”, Woody asked with a look of concern on his face.

“Yeah, I’m coo’! We just gotta hurry up and kick ass up in here!”

Just before the elevator doors closed, Choke came out of nowhere and held the doors open with her skinny arm.

“Awww, I’ma tell that you tryna leave without helpin’ me and Shitty out!”, Choke said as she stood in Deja’s personal space.

Since Jazz knew what was going to take place next, he reached around Deja and pushed the button that would keep the doors open a little longer.

Deja didn’t say a word. She just smirked, drew her right arm all the way back to last week and slapped Choke once, which sent her flying backwards through a wall into next week.

“That bony biatchi shoulda known she didn’t have a chance with me!”, Deja stated as she and the guys made their way back up to the 10th floor to find Tha’ Fool and his crew.

When she and the guys made it to their destination, they saw their enemies running up and down the hall looking in each office for her.

“Yo Foo’! I’m ova here, baby!”, Deja shouted.

Tha’ Fool and his crew turned around and saw her standing there with her boys.

The next few seconds seemed to go by in slow motion. Sisqo reached down in the pocket of his jeans and took out a shiny half-dollar. A smile slowly spread across his face as he observed it while holding it between his thumb and index finger. Then he flipped it through the air telling Tha’ Fool to catch it. Tha’ Fool stood frozen in his tracks as he watched what was being tossed towards him. His eyes widened and then he let out a blood-curdling scream and took off running with his arms wildly flailing in the air like a little biatchi, but it was too late. The coin hit him upside the back of his head knocking him out in the middle of the hallway.

“See, you didn’t even have to do that!!!”, Think-I-Got-It cried before he and the rest of his crew charged towards their enemies.

Once again, no words were exchanged; just hits, kicks, and blows. By the time everything was over, Tha’ Fool and his crew were all piled up on one another in the middle of the hallway while Deja and the guys waited for the authorities to come and carry them away.

Feeling sorry for Shithina, Deja went over to the office and opened the door to let her out.

“Wow! What happened?!”, Shithina asked looking around in amazement.

“It’s too long a story, sweetie.”, Deja replied as she put her arm around her shoulder. “But I suggest that you find another label to sign with maybe as a songwriter or a behind the scenes person or somethin’ until you can do somethin’ about yo’ voice. I think you have the potential to actually do somethin’ worthwhile with it not to mention yo’ appearance and stage presence. You juss need a whole lotta training and boy do I mean a lot; that’s all. I’ll keep appointments for you down at the spa for wax jobs though, and I’ll teach you how to dance and work it, then you’ll be good to go. Oh yeah, and another thing…tell yo’ shadow A.K.A. yo’ momma that she can stop flashing that stupid ‘WeStink’ sign now. It’s not very becoming to see and hear a woman her age pinching her nostrils with her fingers as she screams ‘We Stankin’!’. She knows betta!”

“What’chu doin’?!”, Nokio angrily whispered to Deja after pulling her to the side. “I know you ain’t tellin’ her she could actually have a career as a true star?!”

“Will you let me handle this, please? Trust me, I know what I’m talkin’ ‘bout!”, Deja replied before giving him a quick kiss.

Conclusion[/b]
A few weeks later, Deja had changed Shithina, who was now known as Shathina, into an entirely different person along with a little help from Shawnte’. Even the guys noticed the change. She could now dance with the best of them without playing with her hair and she was writing about things that made sense. Not to mention her new look. Shawnte’ did especially well with her in this area. Shathina no longer dressed so skankyish. Well, she sorta kinda did but she did so with a touch of class. But of course, Deja and Shawnte’ could only do so much with her. She still needed a lot of work with her singing. Although she was getting much better at it, she still had a long, long, long way to go.

“Oh, I wanna thank you so much for believin’ in me!”, Shathina said as she hugged Deja goodbye. She had been offered a deal by a major record label in the big city as a songwriter and was leaving for a few weeks to get everything worked out.

“Hey, it was my pleasure!”, Deja replied as she hugged her newfound friend back.

“I guess I juss needed the right person to believe in me!”, Shathina smiled.

Before Shathina left, The Legend appeared on the screen to once again, commend Dru and Deja on a job well done.

“Not only have you gotten rid of an ill-fated record label for good, but you saved an artist in the process and now she will go on to become a valid superstar. But of course, Shathina, you know that with your real success comes hard work. It won’t be easy.”

“Yeah, I know, and that will truly be the fun part for me!”, she replied as she grinned from ear-to-ear. “Now, I’ll experience the real feelin’ of happiness and success knowin’ that I’m actually putting my heart into somethin’ that will work for me!”

“Good luck with your success! And congratulations to you all once again for a tremendous accomplishment!” On that note, The Legend vanished from the screen.

After Shathina left and everything had settled down, Deja and the guys gathered around the tv to watch the basketball playoffs between Philly and The Kings.

Nokio immediately dove on the sofa beside Deja and laid his head on her lap.

“I have truly created a monster! It’s a good thing you’re a sexy one, though!”, she laughed as she tapped him on the end of his nose with her finger.

“Well, what can I say? This is the best type of pillow that I could ask for!”, Nokio chuckled.

“You may wanna take that back since her otha’ boo just showed up!”, Jazz huffed looking over at them when AI went running across the screen to make a 3-pointer shot.

“Man, please! He ain’t got nothin’ on my fam here with me!”, Deja smiled as she looked down and gently stroked the side of Nokio’s face with the back of her hand.

“That’s what I’m sayin’!!”, Scola shouted as he and the guys jumped up and crowded around her to share a group hug.
