Thanky! But I haven't permed it in quite some time now because I'm still debatin' if I wanna cut it down to a natural curly style again or not...I prolly won't though, but I still don't know. Anyhoo, I'ma wrap it tonite when I go to bed and see how it turns out, but I know I'ma have to pull the flat irons back out in the mornin' before work because I sleep kinda wild-like.

You looka purdy!!! ;D I use flat irons....but because of my thick hair,I have to put a perm then blow dry and then flat iron! Unless somebody else does it and they have some really hot irons. But I just started using these flat irons that are ceramic. They make my hair straight....so if you want you hair straighter, it may help!

Thankx, SS and AV. But yeah...I'ma have to invest in some ceramic flat irons too. Right now I'm usin' my sis' old pair of Gold N' Hots, but my hair holds a lot of heat and these don't get hot enough for me although I know I don't need to burn my hair, but still...anything to make my hair straighter than it is would help me out a great deal!

I have to do the same with my hair as well. It gets on my nerves..smh but ceramic flat irons who are they by?..i might have to check those out. They have different kinds...but I know the major brands (Con-air..etc) (I just checked mine and it's made by Vidal Sasson) make them. You can go to beauty supply stores or Wal-Mart or some place cheap in your area. They are more expensive than regular flat irons (maybe $10) more.....but I got mine cheap because the store was just opening (the regular price was 27.99 and I bought it for 14.99)

You have to look for the ones that say "ceramic coating" because the coating can wear off after extended use but Conair makes a good one if you want the coated one. The one I have is a Conair and I got it a Wal-Mart for less than $20

^^^ Thanky! I went to a beautician on Wednesday afternoon that my friend recommended and I told her to do whateva she had to do to my hair and so even though I didn't want to do perms anymore, she told me that she would perm my hair from now on for a reasonable price because I have what she called "hard hair". She also said that because I had went so long without a perm and because I was cornrowin' my hair on a constant basis that my hair had gone through quite a bit of damage. Sooooo...she had to cut it short on one side and ALL of it in the back although my hair is layered all the way around; but because my hair is so straight right now it'll be a few days before my layers will actually be noticed after I curl and flat iron them. At first I didn't like my new 'do, but it's growin' on me.
