...Dr. Ian Smith! He was so nice and friendly with everybody...a true gentleman, indeed. (I know my hair was somewhat of a mess b/c of the rainy day yesterday but dagnabit I was gonna take a pic with my dreamboat lookin' a hot mess or not--lol!). I also met Debra Williamson who autographed a copy of her book for me that I bought yesterday entitled "Concealed Deception". She explained to me that it's her autobiography and how she overcame domestic violence and how we as women shouldn't settle for less. What I've read so far is very good. Annnnnnnnnd...last but not least, I was blessed to hear Ms. Patti Labelle, herself, speak. Her words of wisdom had all the women nearly or in tears as she herself cried at times about all issues that women have to deal with from relationship to mental issues; she even shared with us that she was almost at the point of suicide on Easter sunday because of how lonely she feels at times. And of course she brought the house allllllll THE way down when she closed out sangin' (yes sangin') The Lord's Prayer! She was so humble and real that it was UNREAL to everybody!

Cool gurl! See mem I'm an emotional fool so I would've been crying when patti spoke.
I suffer from bi-polar disorder so I know what mental issues can do to a woman.
