I'm just getting to this, I haven't been on in a few days. But I will surely pray for the three of you. And I hope that you guys can pull through okay. You are really good people so I hate to hear that you guys are through a rough patch. But again, I'll think of you and keep you in my prayers.

After a doctor's visit last week I was told not good things...a number of them to be exact. I have mild scoliosis for those who don't know what that is, it's a abnormal curvature of the spine that can cause pain. Mine causes me not to walk far distances and not to be able to stand for longer than 15 minutes without excruciating pain. I have to use the motorized chairs or lean on shopping carts when I go out in stores or the mall.
I was also told that my rapid weight gain over the last year almost 80 pounds I've gone from 170 to 250 in 10 months(but I still look good...tee-hee!) may be due to a thyroid problem because I have swelling and pain in my legs also. The swelling may be from a severe blood clot i had in my left leg 2 years ago, but since it's in both it's most likely my thyroid.
I have to get a series of blood tests done to determine that and if I can have children because I've lost 5 babies early on in pregnancy. On top of that they're still trying to find out if I have Lupus or Rheumatoid Arthritis both of which are hard to diagnose because they have some of the same symptoms.
All of this has me scared and stressed but i'm still going strong. I'm not even 30 yet so life is just beginning and I don't plan on slowing down no matter what the devil puts in front of me.
I don't mind sharing any of this with you. I'm asking for your continued prayers and this is a big one....

I pray that you will be strong through this process....and the doctor's will find out what the problems really are...remember to pray for yourself, because God is a healer.

Tanee pretty much said it all. I know that you're a strong woman and you will overcome all of this. You are definately in my prayers.

Thanks y'all. Sometimes as much as you pray for yourself you tend to ask for just a little more help. I guess the hardest part is that my dad is doing all he can to help me, you know supporting me financially and making sure i get where i have to go. On the other hand I have a sister who considers herself church going and religious but thinks that all my health problems are B. S. and she lets it show that she doesn't care. So I pray for her all the time because I feel she needs the prayer more that I do.

You are doing the right thing in praying for your sis. There's nothing like the power of prayer! Also, it's a blessing that you have your father to help you out. Continue to keep your head up and know that we're all here for you like Nikki said.

I know you all know about the devastation in New Orleans from Hurricane Katrina. I evacuated with my family and as far as I can tell from the news footage and first hand reports, my house is possibly under 8-10 feet of water. We have no homeowners insurance so imagine my anxiety right now. It's gonna be a long time before I get home and a very long clean up once I get there. Just pray for all of us in N.O. to have the strength to go on.
