Bit of whining about Amy Winehouse at Grammy after-parties

Amy Winehouse performing in London for the Grammys Sunday night
Sunday night's Grammy Awards were diverting, but the truly great performances were at the parties.
Natalie Cole gets our nomination for best spoken-word dis of another artist. The former Grammy winner dared to tell a reporter what a lot of people were thinking about Amy Winehouse's quintuplet of trophies.
"I don't think she deserved it," said Cole, who also has battled drugs and booze. "I think she needs to get her life together first, and then get the awards later." Cole said Winehouse was talented but "crazy."
Ringo Starr, who overheard Cole, remarked to no one in particular: "Man, those are some grapes."
Winehouse had other defenders. Her drug problems "are her personal life," Nelly told us at the party Universal Music chief Doug Morris threw at The Palm. "You can't hate a person for their personal life." David Spade, for one, was less excited by Winehouse's Grammy gold than "that she got a new tooth. [That old gap] was like the Holland Tunnel. Now it's filled in. That tells me she's getting her act together," he told us at Clive Davis' Grammy dinner at the Hilton, where Alicia Keys performed for the likes of Whitney Houston and Janet Jackson.
Rihanna got into a fender-bender outside Universal's party, where another driver rammed her vehicle. The scrape didn't stop the Grammy winner from heading to Entertainment Weekly's party for Island/Def Jam chief L.A. Reid. As soon as she walked in, Rihanna made a beeline for Chris Brown, the boyfriend she's been trying to keep under wraps. "They were touching and whispering in each other's ears," says our spy. "Then Jay-Z and Beyoncé walked in. Jay was saying hello to everybody except them. Rihanna seemed upset. She walked over to his table and looked like she was reading him the riot act. A few minutes later, she and Chris left together in her car." Jay and Rihanna have both denied rumors of a past fling, and he and Beyoncé did invite Rihanna to an intimate dinner they threw Thursday.
Shy and self-effacing though he is, Kanye West stopped the action at the EW party to give guests a sneak peek of the video for his single, "Flashing Lights." The clip, co-directed by West and Spike Jonze, has a lingerie-clad woman driving to the desert and opening the trunk of her car, revealing a bound and gagged Kanye. She batters him with a shovel. "Everybody was in shock," says a guest. "They were saying, 'What was that about?'"
And whatever happened to that Grammy number marking the 25th anniversary of Michael Jackson's "Thriller"? Jacko had gotten Grammy producers to agree that he'd only appear - and not perform - during a medley featuring will.i.am, Fergie and others. But even that may have been too daunting for the reclusive star. According to some sources, a panic attack prevented him from going through with the deal. A Jackson rep insists, "It was too last-minute. All the elements didn't come together."
Do i detect a little bit of haterisim in that quote? Who is she to say what one deserves or not deserves, I'm pretty sure that there are a whole lot of worse things that she has done that makes should make her exempt from a lot of things, she has some nerve considering the fact that the lining in her nose has probably been eradicated and it's possible you would need a tire iron to penetrate her veins if she needed an iv in the event of an emergency!
